Ready, Set, Certification!™
A Multilingual Guided Pre-Certification Study Group for Medical Interpreters

Developed for active Medical Interpreters looking to prepare for upcoming national certification exams, Ready, Set, Certification! is designed to prepare experienced healthcare interpreters for certification by practicing conversion skills and refreshing medical vocabulary. The course will include four four-hour classroom segments plus guided mandatory study group sessions.

Each group will be facilitated by an experienced Culturesmart trainer who is also a working interpreter. Training sessions will focus on practice exercises, realistic role-plays, and constructive feedback specially designed to help practicing interpreters improve their skills and knowledge. The program will also provide opportunities to review and practice note-taking, message retention, and self-correction techniques that enable interpreters to work with greater confidence and efficiency.

Our coverage of vocabulary will include dialogues that use key terminology in a broad range of specialties, from external anatomy to neurology.
